The Devon Group (Bistro Nido, Devon Café) is opening its seventh Dopa location tomorrow in Westfield Bondi Junction.

Executive Chef Zachary Tan and Executive Pastry Chef Markus Andrew are curating the offering which is inspired by Japanese comfort food with over 20 variations of donburi alongside a range of Japanese desserts.

To celebrate the menu, Dopa will launch a Bondi don which is a vegan-friendly donburi featuring a plant-based beef patty, rice, tare, seaweed, sliced shallot, vegan cheese, tomato sauce, and a secret sauce.

Other variations of donburi will include a karaage or chicken teriyaki alongside more experimental takes such as a wagyu beef tongue, glacier 51 toothfish, and cheeseburger wagyu option.

For the sweet-tooth, Dopa will also offer mochi in strawberry, matcha, and mango flavours alongside a signature cheescake.

Guests can also expect Dopa’s house-brewed ice tea in lychee, raspberry, and yuzu flavours.

The Bondi Junction outpost follows The Devon Group’s other Dopa locations in Darling Quarter, Darling Square, Town Hall, Sydney Place, The Galeries, and Macquarie Centre.

Dopa will also be giving away 150 free donburi between 2-5pm on 8 and 9 December to the first customers who visit and also download the Dopa app.

Dopa will open at Westfield Bondi Junction tomorrow.
