Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is set to launch Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria in Australia.
Located in Pacific Fair shopping centre on the Gold Coast, the Hallmark Group-backed venue will open to the public in the coming weeks.
“The Gold Coast is the perfect city to launch Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria Down Under and I’ve got no doubt locals, tourists and especially families are going to absolutely love it,” said Oliver.
“Our pizzerias have earned an unrivalled reputation for serving incredible, authentic hand-stretched pizzas topped with the most fantastic and delicious ingredients, not to mention tasty salads and delicious desserts.”
Hallmark says its the first of many pizzerias to open across Australia, with the first store opening in the UK in 2014.
There are now locations in Budapest, India, the Netherlands and Dubai.
Jamie Oliver has experienced turbulent times in recent years with the collapse of his UK restaurant group which entered administration earlier in the year.
Hallmark Group swooped in at the last minute to save Oliver’s Australian business in 2018 after it entered voluntary administration.
