A new bar and eatery called Hunter Gatherer will soon open in North Sydney, located on the rooftop of the Greenwood Plaza.
Launched by the owners of Bondi’s The Corner House and Panama House, Hunter Gatherer’s kitchen will be led by head chef Paul “Mick” Micklewright who has curated a menu based on fresh, locally sourced sustainable ingredients.
The menu will comprise ‘Hunted’ and ‘Gathered’ sections, including dishes like Bannockburn free range chicken braised with Sicilian olives, lemon, confit garlic, thyme and verjus; Farmers market steak platter with all the trimmings; spiced eggplant, haloumi and tomato salad with parsley and chickpeas; and roast bone marrow with onion jam and a toasted baguette.
The bar will offer a range of craft beers, local spirits, cocktails and organic and biodynamic wines.
The interior boasts a Danish design with “rustic farmhouse” finishes, and an abundance of lush greenery throughout the indoor and outdoor areas as well as onto the large terrace.
Hunter Gatherer, due to open early next week, will trade Monday to Friday, with a license until midnight from Wednesday to Friday.
