The White Jacket Effect has launched a one-month challenge to encourage hospitality workers to come together and put their health first.
Hospo Health Month is open to workers across all facets of the industry including:
- Front and back of house
- Reps and suppliers
- Teachers and students
Participants can enter as individuals or groups, with venues encouraged to join the challenge as teams.
“We are hoping to get some friendly rivalry happening and for people to do a bit more exercise, get more fresh air, support each other, take their health seriously and most importantly have fun!” says White Jacket Effect Founder Amber Kaba.
The club will monitor activities through member tracking devices and the Get Fresh Foundations Facebook group will motivate participants to go the extra mile.
Prizes will be awarded to the ‘fittest restaurant’, ‘biggest team’ and additional categories.
The challenge is on now until 28 February 2021.
