Melbourne has welcomed a new addition to its cafe scene with the opening of Heart of Hall in Newport.
The venue also features a retail shop and cooking school, which owners Stacey Krbaleski and Nicole Walker hope will become a “culinary hub which brings people and food together”.
The café menu focuses on doing the classics well, featuring breakfast dishes such as bagels and granola bowls, alongside brews by Small Batch Coffee.
The kitchen is run by head chef Danni Perryman who has worked across popular Melbourne venues including Walters Wine Bar.
Resident cooking instructor Kate McKay has experience working at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Recipease as both a chef and cooking instructor.
