The results for the 2018 Official Great Aussie Pie Competition have been released.
There were a number of entries submitted for a range of categories including plain meat pie, overall gourmet pie, plain sausage roll and vegetarian pie.
Best overall gourmet pie was awarded to Edison Bakehoue in Monbulk, Victoria, for their steak and pepper pie.
Mayfield Patisseries and Chocolates in Montville, Queensland took out the top honours for best gourmet sausage roll, with their Lamb Spinach and Feta creation.
