Sydney dining institution Golden Century has added a new venue to its portfolio that’s all about BBQ.
Golden Century BBQ is located inside the Exchange Building in Darling Square and focuses on Cantonese BBQ as well as a selection of dim sum, noodles, rice and side dishes.
It’s the first casual-style concept for the group, which also operates XOPP upstairs.
“We want our customers to feel like they’re eating at a restaurant without actually having to dine inside a restaurant,” says Co-Founder Billy Wong.
“Quality is at the forefront of Golden Century ethos, so it’s important for us to ensure the quality of our dishes at Golden Century BBQ reflect that of our restaurants.”
BBQ is open every day except Tuesday, serving up standout dishes such as roasted duck served with rice or noodles, char siu and steamed-to-order siu mai.
The group’s signature sauce used to make the iconic XO pippies dish is also available for diners to add on for $4.
Traditional Chinese drinks, beers and wines round out the drinks list, with non-alc options available as well.
Golden Century BBQ is open from 11:30am until 8:30pm.
