Gault&Millau Australia will host the annual Mise en Place Sydney event on 14 May at Ovolo Woolloomooloo.

The event is a free global initiative that connects restaurant professionals with world-class producers and suppliers.

Mise en Place will host a range of masterclasses, cooking demonstrations, educational talks and presentations from leading industry professionals.

Joel Houghton will discuss nose-to-tail butchery and Erez Gordon will look at maximising returns on your drinks list.

The 2019 Gault&Millau award finalists will also be announced, spanning categories including chef of the year, restaurant of the year and sommelier of the year, to name a few.
