Western Australia’s Gage Roads Brewing Co has announced it will open its first venue in the Sydney suburb of Redfern.

Dubbed Atomic Beer Project, the multi-level space encompasses a bar, microbrewery and a Thai restaurant.

All beers are brewed on-site, including pale ales, XPAs, IPAs, limited releases and experimental brews.

Head Chef Jordan McLeod (Longrain Tokyo) has designed a Thai-inspired menu that takes cues from Gage Roads’ range and will evolve with the seasons.

Dishes include grilled tiger prawn skewers with green curry butter; pork and squid salad with peanuts and nuoc cham and southern yellow curry with roast cauliflower, Thai eggplant and snake beans.

Coffee and an all-day menu will also be available.

Along with beer, the beverage list covers wine and spirits from local distilleries including Archie Rose, Poor Toms and Brix.

The venue will open on 24 September seven days a week from 7am until 10pm.
