Canberra’s top chefs will band together to put on a five-course degustation at Sage Dining Rooms on Monday 26 August.
The Food for Thought charity dinner will see founder and Subo head chef Mal Meiers cook alongside Thomas Heinrich (Sage Dining Rooms); Dave Young (Temporada); Mal Hanslow (Pilot); Sunga Son (Terra) and Johnon MacDonald (Akiba)
It’s the first Canberra event for the organisation, which will raise funds for R U OK? and Lifeline.
“These dinners were sparked by my own experience, having personally faced this,” says Meiers. “My hope is to help broaden the awareness of the support that’s available – to not only my peers, but to the wider community, for all those who suffer in silence.”
The dinner will feature a beverage pairing and kick off at 6pm.
Tickets are on sale here.
