Sydney has a new spot for steak and seafood thanks to Wildfire restaurateur Dah Lee.

Lee has launched Firegrill in Barrack Place in the Sydney CBD and recruited ex-Wildfire chefs George Francisco and Nghia Dinh to run the kitchen.

“We are dedicated to sourcing the right ingredients at their seasonal best,” says Francisco. “Using fire, rubs and smoke to create dishes with bold flavours and a menu that is relaxed and timeless.”

Sommelier John Clancy has also joined the team alongside mixologist Amanda Gilroy.

The 300-seat restaurant is spread across two levels and features a number of spaces including a casual street-level bar and restaurant, private dining room, event space, chefs tables, cocktail bar and mezzanine dining area.

Firegrill is opens its doors today and is open for dinner Monday to Saturday and for breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday.
