Merivale has announced the impending closure of Est. After 19 years, the two-hatted restaurant will hold its last service on 21 December, before shuttering to make way for major renovations in 2020.

A Merivale spokesperson says, “The time is right for a change, and a shift in focus to a fresh and exciting new project within the space.”

Head chef Jacob Davey and his team are set to help Jordan Toft the highly-anticipated new middle level at Coogee Pavilion.
