42BELOW has announced entries are now open for the Sustainable Cocktail Showcase.
Bartenders from Australia and New Zealand are invited to submit through Facebook which will be judged on creativity, sustainability and popularity.
Entries must also be shared on Instagram by bartenders, using #42BELOW.
“The 42BELOW Sustainable Cocktail Showcase aims to change some minds by demonstrating how being sustainable can be both easy and tasty, and we hope to see some amazing new drinks created for this cause,” says Jacob Briars from 42BELOW.
The competition aims to promote and celebrate the work bartenders are doing to create cocktails that are sustainable and taste good.
Entries are open until 5pm Monday 22 October, with finalists announced on Thursday 1 November.
The voting period will run until January 2018, with two winners from Australia and two from New Zealand announced on 8 February.
