Australia’s longest running culinary award for young chefs, the Nestl Golden Chef’s Hat is looking for its 2017 competitors.

Entries are now open, with those taking part given access to mentorship and masterclasses from some of the industry’s leaders.

The teams of two will compete in regional heats and the winners from each state will cook-off against each other at the national final at Fine Food Sydney this September.

The winners of this year’s competition will claim a culinary trip toVietnam.

Applications are open to 16 to 25 year olds (as of 30 September) currently working in the culinary industry of Australia. Entries close on 12 May.
