Applications are still open for the 2021 Drink Easy Awards.

Producers of wine, spirits, beer and cider, non-alcoholic and alternative beverages are invited to submit their best and brightest before 23 July.

Drinks will be judged by industry experts including Emma Farrelly, Young Gun of Wine winner Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton Wines), Fred Siggins (Pith + Vinegar), Sharon Romeo (Fino), Liam Pereira (Batch Brewing), Harriet Leigh (Archie Rose) and Nick Stock.

Drink Easy founders Tamrah Petruzzelli, Africola’s Duncan Welgemoed and Mike Bennie are also heavily involved in the process.

“We’re seeing some extremely exciting entries across all categories – and from all over the country – as part of this year’s awards,” says Petruzzelli.

The results of the awards are collated into five categories that celebrate creativity and variety. There’s also an overall top 10 that lists standout products.

All entrants will receive feedback and tasting notes from judges.

The judging will commence in August, with the awards party to be held in Adelaide in October.
