Disneyland’s signature soft serve treat has made its way to Australia for the first time.
The iconic ice cream was set to make its local debut last year, however the pandemic forced the brand to hold off.
Dole Whip will have food trucks at two locations (Woolworths Dome; Kids Street) within the Easter Show and will churn out strawberry, mango, pineapple and watermelon flavours.
The gluten- and dairy-free treat was previously only available at Disneyland, and Australian distributor Ted Foster has ambitious plans to bring the brand to the masses.
“We’re really excited to give Sydneysiders a taste of Disneyland at the Royal Easter Show this year,” says Foster.
“We were all ready to go with our custom made Dole Whip food trucks for last year’s show when everything was cancelled – so we’ve waited twelve months to be able to share Dole Whip for the first time with Sydney.”
Foster also has plans to take the trucks to other shows in the coming year.
The trucks will be open for the duration of the Easter Show from 1-12 April.
