Diageo has announced Krystal Hart has been appointed as the new national ambassador for the Diageo World Class bartending competition.
An award-winning bartender, Hart was one of the national top 10 finalists for Diageo’s World Class competition in 2012 and 2013.
Hart has been a core member of the Diageo Reserve Ambassador team for the past four years, first in her home state of Queensland before relocating to take on a more senior role on the New South Wales team.
She has also contributed to the Diageo World Class program on a global level, having assisted with logistics and production at the World Class Global Finals this year in Mexico, and presenting at a number of Global Ambassador summits.
“I’m really excited to take on this new role, with such an exciting program and an amazing team leading the charge, 2018 is set to be a remarkable year for the competition,” she says.
“World Class is more than just a cocktail competition. It’s a global network that can help connect you with some of the best bartenders, sharing and supporting cocktail culture.”
Entries for the Diageo World Class Australia competition will open in January 2018. Further information will be shared in the coming months.
