Sydney café Devon has opened its first outlet in Brisbane.
Located in Westfield Garden City, the 80-seat venue is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will serve signature dishes including the croissant St Denis and miso-marinated king salmon.
“We’re really excited to be opening in Queensland and being so close to great seafood, tropical fruit and vegetable farms,” says executive chef Zachary Zan.
The venue will also serve unique dishes including house-made banana bread with macadamia nuts and local bananas and grilled Hervey Bay scallops with kombu butter, potatoes and caviar. A house blend of coffee will also be on offer alongside matcha lattes, iced teas, milkshakes and smoothies.
Devon will dish up a substantial dinner menu, with dishes including squid ink angel hair pasta with mussels and crab along with wagyu tenderloin 3+ with cep puree and sautéed mushrooms. For dessert, soft serve with hot chips will be available along with French toast with mango, pine lime cream and cereal.
The Brisbane cafe is the fourth outlet for Devon, with the other three located in North Sydney, Barangaroo and Surry Hills.
