Deliveroo has launched Deliveroo Editions, a delivery-only kitchen concept located in Melbourne.
Australia’s first Deliveroo Editions site is equipped with bespoke kitchen spaces housing seven Australian restaurants including venues from The Lucas Group.
Deliveroo Editions in Australia comes after the successful launch of the platform across the UK, Europe and Asia.
The Lucas Group brands Baby and Kong are available through Editions along with two new delivery-only restaurants, DiDi Dumpling and Yubi.
Shayne McCallum and Alan Sam, owners 8Bit and Up in Smoke, have also joined to pioneer the new Deliveroo Editions space.
Gelato Messina is also available through Editions and has created five exclusive gelato items available to Melbourne customers.
“By partnering with some of Australia’s top restaurants — from unique independents to high-street favourites — we’re ensuring people have access to incredible food on demand,” says Levi Aron, general manager Deliveroo Australia.
Deliveroo Editions will bring Baby, Kong, DiDi Dumpling, Yubi, 8Bit, Up in Smoke and Messina to customers living and working across Windsor, South Yarra, St Kilda, Richmond, Toorak and Prahran.
Multiple Deliveroo Editions sites are planned for launch across Australia throughout 2018.
