Momofuku’s David Chang has ventured into TV land again with the launch of Ugly Delicious.
Officially hitting Netflix on 23 February, the eight-part show explores the connection between food and identity and depicts Chang meeting with chefs, writers and entertainers at restaurants across the globe.
“Food is something we all have in common,” says Chang. “It’s an essential part of who we are and how we create connections across cultures.”
Chang has described the new series as “a collaborative forum, a place where it’s okay to have strong opinions and honest conversations about food.”
