It’s been a busy 12 months for Melbourne born chef Curtis Stone.
In July last year a new partnership between Stone and Princess Cruises saw him develop new culinary offerings which will be served across the cruise line’s 18-strong ship fleet, and now he has announced that he will be opening a second LA restaurant later this year.
Stone’s first LA restaurant, Maude located in Beverly Hills opened in February 2014. Each month, the 25 seat restaurant showcases a single ingredient that then inspires a menu of nine tasting plates.
The new restaurant, which is yet to be named, is still in its planning stages with Stone explaining that he is currently “knee deep” in menu development.
“So that means menu and concept development, site visits, working with designers and red tape,” Stone told The Daily Telegraph.
“But it will be worth it when those doors open this year.”
