Chef Chase Kojima has opened the doors to Sydney’s first omakase ramen restaurant on Sydney’s North Shore.
Senpai Ramen is located just off Victoria Road on Archer Street in Chatswood, offering guests a seven-course set menu for $65.
20 diners are set to enjoy four iterations of ramen including a 12-hour pork broth, spicy miso butter and rare smoked duck.
Other courses include mini chirashi (a la Kojima’s Darling Square concept Simulation Senpai) and miso-marinated Glacier 51 toothfish. Guests will also be able to add on additional courses to the set menu.
“We use the best seafood and meats and combine them with incredible Japanese and Australian flavours for a unique and absolutely exquisite experience,” says Kojima.
“I am passionate about supporting and showcasing Australia’s finest produce and incorporating them into traditional Japanese dishes with a modern twist.”
It marks the second Senpai concept for Kojima, who is also the executive chef of Sokyo at The Star Sydney and Kiyomi at The Star Gold Coast.
Senpai Ramen‘s bookings are now open for 90-minute dining experiences.
The restaurant is currently open for dinner, with lunch service set to commence next week.
