Cult Sydney chicken company Chargrill Charlie’s have confirmed they are expanding out of Sydney for the first time.
The family-owned company has signed a 10-year lease and will open in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell, located 10km from the CBD.
“We are very excited to take our family chicken shop my parents started in 1989 and allow Melbourne to enjoy the fresh quality chicken, chips and healthy salads that Sydney has loved for almost 30 years,” says Ryan Sher, co-owner of Chargrill Charlie’s.
While an official opening date has yet to be announced, the company has promised to release additional information in the coming months.
Chargrill Charlie’s currently has 10 stores in Sydney, with the most recent, Annandale, opening in September last year.
