The team behind Canberra restaurant Lazy-Su have announced their latest venture, a casual spin-off dubbed Baby-Su.
Baby-Su will offer a similar pan-Asian cuisine to Lazy-Su, but in a more relaxed setting with a focus on takeaway and delivery options.
Director Jared Calnan says the idea for the new venue came about directly from feedback from Lazy-Su customers.
“They wanted to eat Lazy-Su sometimes more than once a week but didn’t have the time to sit down and order every single time,” he says.
“That’s what Baby-Su is aiming to cater to, it is designed to complement the Lazy-Su brand in its own cool, cute way.”
The menu will feature Lazy-Su favourites as well as new or redeveloped dishes to the suit the casual venue, such as burgers and fried chicken.
Baby-Su is slated to open in mid-August in Canberra’s No Name Lane dining precinct.
