Sydney fried chicken hub Butter is expanding its footprint with a new location.

The concept is heading to the North Shore and will open in Chatswood Chase in mid-December.

Butter will bring an expanded menu and bar offering to the north side along with apparel and sneakers.

“We get to build a community in each of these areas of … members who are as serious about our culture as we are – food, music booze and fashion – or as we put it in our pillars – fried chicken, hip hop, champagne and sneakers,” says Executive Chef Julian Cincotta.

Diners can look forward to the venue’s signature fried chicken along with a larger beef burger menu, BBQ chicken and a selection of salads.

“While we are very proud of our original menu that we haven’t really changed since we launched the first Butter in 2016 … we have always wanted to add some additional healthier options that customers can come back for everyday,” says Cincotta.

“We think that the humble, Aussie favourite BBQ chicken and salad offering is that – it’s great for families, great to share, and most importantly, it allows us to stay true to our hero dish – chicken!”

To celebrate the launch, the store will host an invite-only launch event, with a raffle now open.

It’s the third location for Butter, which also has locations in Surry Hills and Parramatta.
