Promising to be one of the best hangover cures in town, Brisbane’s Morning After caf has officially swung open its doors.

Located on West End’s Vulture Street, Morning After is owned and operated by mother and son team Soula and Yianni Passaris. The venue features an all-day breakfast and lunch menu comprising a balance of healthy and classic ‘hangover food’.

The menu champions quality Australian suppliers including Brisbane’s Bee One Third honey company, Huon Salmon from Tasmania and Western Australia’s 5 Senses coffee. The Passaris’ also enlisted the help of Brisbane dietitian and nutritionist, Lisa Peterson to consult on the creation of the menu.

The team’s signature deconstructed breakfast carbonara with a 63 degree hens’ egg features on the all-day breakfast menu along with fresh sand crab omelette; buttermilk and ricotta hotcakes; sweet corn pakora; and granola.

The lunch menu comprises salt and pepper squid with Asian slaw; slow roasted lamb shoulder salad with charred radicchio; and a classic cheeseburger with smoked bacon and a side of chips.

The venue also features an impressive drinks list brimming with coffee, specialty teas by Cartel, handcrafted elixirs, wine, sparkling, beer or spirits.

Morning After is located at 57 Vulture Street (Cnr Cambridge Street), West End QLD.
