The Bentley Group’s Brent Savage will host a pop-up at Supernormal Canteen in St Kilda, Melbourne.
Held on Monday 14 January, the chef will showcase Yellow’s cutting-edge vegetarian fare over a six-course menu.
“A solely vegetable-driven menu gives me the opportunity to focus on interesting and heirloom varietals, grown by local suppliers,” says Savage. “Having the opportunity to work with Andrew [McConnell] and the Supernormal team to explore their relationship with vegetables and their creative take on this new menu is fantastic.”
Diners can expect dishes including torched avocado with pistachio, sea grapes and yuzu kosho; abalone mushroom with egg yolk, potato and pepperberry and black koji rice with snake beans and nori.
Bookings are now open, with the six-course menu priced at $75pp excluding drinks.
