Sydney venue Bistro Clementine has revised its offering since opening in Pyrmont in mid-2019.

The bar/restaurant originally launched as Bar Clementine, but has made the move to Bistro to reflect its new direction.

The venue, owned by Eric Morris, is focusing on weekday trade for now, offering breakfast and lunch menus along with takeaway sandwiches.

A new chef has also been appointed, with Bilent Peel joining the venue after time at Cafe Paci, Sixpenny and Rockpool.

Peel has designed a menu that elevates classic dishes with avocado, ricotta and salsa verde on seeded sourdough with a poached egg and cured salmon with potato hash, sour cream, dill and fried capers two breakfast highlights.

For lunch, everything from salad bowls to bistro staples are available.

Standouts include steak frites, a cheeseburger, pea and mint rigatoni and a California bowl with brown rice, vegetables and pickled ginger with a togarashi and ponzu dressing.

Coffee is by The Blind Roaster and a selection of Australian and European wines are also on offer.

Bistro Clementine is open Monday to Friday from 7am until 3pm with plans to introduce weekend and evening hours in the coming months.
