Chef and presenter Ben O’Donoghue and business partner Ben Roberts have teamed up to launch Bender’s Bar in Brisbane’s West End.
The pair, who also run Billykart, have taken one of the restaurant’s top sellers, the burger, and made it the hero at Bender’s, which will open its doors on 25 October.
The new venue will feature a menu primarily consisting of burgers and snacks and is described as the casual sibling to Billykart.
Menu items include the fish burger with ranch dressing, avocado and lettuce along with beer-battered pickles and jalapeno poppers as snacks.
The 80-seat venue will also run weekly specials and feature local Aussie beers including cans from Yulli’s Brews in Sydney.
