Paddington has a new Italian venue in town from the owners of Cipri.

Barbetta features a café, gourmet food store and food workshop space, but all focus around Italian hospitality.

The café serves up breakfast and lunch with drinks available at the bar. Dishes include Sicilian buckwheat pancakes with ricotta, figs, choc chips, honey and crushed cannoli along with spinach and ricotta ravioli with burnt butter and sage.

There are also Italian sweets on offer such as pastries, desserts and cakes made by Barbetta’s pastry chef who hails from Naples.

The Barbetta gourmet food store stocks a selection of specialty Italian products and gifts alongside coffee, condiments, biscuits and festive cakes.

Designed in collaboration with Acme & Co, Barbetta has been imagined to capture the style of a classic Italian car, the warmth of a 1950’s movie and the essence of old-fashioned village life.
