Solotel and Matt Moran have confirmed Aria Brisbane will close after 10 years in business.
The group made the decision not to renew the lease of the Eagle Street Pier location, with Moran citing the end of lease as the perfect time to “go out on top”.
Aria’s final service will be on Saturday 15 June and the restaurant will celebrate its final days with a 10-course tasting menu which will include iconic dishes such as confit pork belly and banoffee with banana and caramel. “These are some are the dishes that our guests kept coming back for and some have been nominated by staff as the dishes that drove conversation and interest,” says Moran.
In a personal address to staff, Moran thanked staff and described the past 10 years as an absolute honour.
“It has been an incredible decade … to be able to work with the best chefs and staff and the finest ingredients that Queensland has to offer,” says Moran.
Reservations are now open for Aria’s remaining weeks.
