Vicinity Dining, located in Sydney’s inner west food hub of Alexandria has closed down after three years of operation.
The venue, located across the road from the hugely popular Grounds of Alexandria, had experienced a number of chef changes and menus tweaks in recent times. Vicinity owner, Rob Rubis confirmed the closure to Good Food.
“It [the menu] recently went back to basics. It didn’t work as well as we’d hoped. In an area like Alexandria you need an edge, you need to do something different,” Rubis told Good Food.
North Curl Curl’s Cooh Caf & Roaster will take over the site with a new name and interior makeover, offering a menu driven by organic dishes with a wide selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options.
