Alt. Wine Bar is the latest vinous addition to the vibrant King William Road district in Hyde Park.
Guests are able to choose from over 200 wines at Alt. Wine Bar with a large focus on local South Australian and Australian drops.
Alongside the wine, there’s also a signature cocktail offering crafted by Venue Manager Courtney Price.
Alt. Wine Bar is also serving up a bar snack menu to pair with the beverage offering.
Highlights from the menu include Kangaroo Island oysters, miso devilled eggs with Golden Curry Kewpie and shichimi togarashi, plus lamb tartare.
Adam Robinson is behind the new opening and also owns Burnside lunch go-to Lockwood General.
“At the heart of alt. is a tangible love for the hospitality industry and all those involved, both staff and patrons. I’m ecstatic to be able to contribute to the vibrancy of Hyde Park,” says Robinson.
“I’ve lived in the area for nine years and have felt for a while now that the area was missing a decent bar, there’s something intimate about a good suburban bar and I can’t wait for people to get to know alt.”
The new wine bar boasts a sleek, minimalistic fit-out with local art work and a large wooden table for communal dining crafted by Robinson himself.
Alt. Wine Bar is open Thursday to Monday and is located at 151 King William Road, Hyde Park.
