Adelaide hospitality group Another Kind has officially launched with the announcement of a new leadership team and structure.
Joining the group is ex-Noma co-owner James Spreadbury as Creative Director and General Manager Meira Harel.
Spreadbury brings 12 years of experience as Noma’s service director and partner, overseeing the restaurant’s international residencies in Mexico and Australia.
“I am so excited to be able to return to my hometown of Adelaide after so many
years abroad, and join an existing team of dynamic hospitality professionals that make up this ambitious and exciting new group,” he says.
“It has always been apparent to me that people come first in this business, which is what my career has been built around.
“My role is to help train and inspire the team to understand that no detail is too small, and to help nurture the importance of service and experience.”
Harel has recently relocated to Adelaide after time in Melbourne working as a sommelier and manager of Lake House and The Town Mouse.
The group includes well-established local venues such as Press Food + Wine, Leigh Street Wine Room and Peel St Dining.
In addition, Harel and Spreadbury currently own and run e-commerce wine business Juice Traders.
The pair will work on innovative training programs to grow the team as well as progress the overall vision and direction of the group, honing in on service, community engagement and attention to detail.
