Adam Wilkinson has announced the launch of two eateries that will both open in Melbourne’s Southside before the end of 2016.
Wilkinson is best known for launching Prahran caf, St Edmonds as well as Denis The Menace.
Grange Road Egg Shop, a light and bright eatery in Toorak is set to open mid-November. The the 97-seater venue will feature a menu designed by Yotam Ottolenghi alumni Aleksander Nitecki.
Wilkinson’s second new venture, Lillie, will open early December on Chattam Street, Prahran. Located just a few steps from Chapel Street, Lillie will serve healthy, quality takeaway and dine-in meals with the aim of capitalising on lunchtime trade.
Lillie will serve fresh salads by the scoop – adapted from a trend in the US – with optional add-ons such as crisp pork belly, cured fish or pickled and probiotic vegetables.
The 120-seater venue will feature a fit out by Simon Cooks from Duck Build Architecture, Ash Keating artwork and a giant self-sufficient bio tank.
