Arilla restaurant in Boneo Park, Mornington Peninsula has welcomed Adam Beckett as it’s new head chef.

Beckett is making the most of fresh, regional ingredients with a menu made up of his favourite dishes.

“We are able to access on our very doorstep, a vast array of local and fresh produce from many of the local market gardens that supply back to Melbourne,” says the chef

“It doesn’t get better than that when you are looking at what’s the best on offer for each season.”

The Welsh-native has previously worked in Michelin-starred kitchens in the UK as well as three hatted restaurants in Australia including Quay in Sydney, Vue de monde in Melbourne and most recently, Paringa Estate in Mornington Peninsula.

Signature dishes include a slow-cooked pork entrée, tagliatelle of mussels and Humpty Doo barramundi.

Dessert options encompass poached rhubarb with vanilla custard, lemon myrtle meringue with passionfruit coulis and Callebaut dark chocolate mousse.

Food can be paired with a selection of local wines and beer or cocktails, with venue staff on hand to offer their advice and recommendations.

Guests can enjoy the venue’s new facilities which include a New York loft-style bar, lounge area and dining area with scenic views.
