At Cookers we are privileged to be able to service those businesses in the sector that are still operational as we navigate the unchartered waters the globe is currently faced with.

Just like all our hospitality partners that have been severely impacted by COVID-19, we at Cookers have felt the strain, however we continue to operate and support the industry in remaining available to supply and support our valued customers.

At Cookers our messaging in this time is clear, if you are a customer- we are here to help. If you are not currently a Cookers customer, we are also here to help you — please pick up the phone for a discussion.

We have been inspired by the perseverance of the industry in these times. Some businesses with the privilege of remaining open for delivery and/or takeaway are pushing ahead, others have impressively been able to pivot their business model in a short timeframe to accommodate the new measures in place and keep their doors open and staff employed.

With the above in mind, we are taking the situation seriously as we also have been required to adjust some of our general methods.

Rest assured, we’re following the advice of Government and Health Department authorities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff, customers, suppliers and community.

In addition we have incorporated some new operational measures to minimise contact during this time.

We have introduced out of hours deliveries for our customers that wish to take up this offering.

All our drivers wear gloves as required by our regular standards, and we now have introduced sanitiser in their vehicles to ensure regular hygiene maintenance at all times.

As a way to provide a seamless no contact delivery, we no longer are requiring signing by customers for deliveries and have instead implemented drivers to sign on behalf of our customers.

We will continue to show our support for local small business by focusing our messaging through our social and media channels, highlighting take away and delivery as available options.

To our customers that have been forced to pause their operations during this difficult time, know that we are here and ready when you are.

Well into our 20th year of supplying the industry, Cookers is a well-resourced business that is in this with our customers for the long haul.
