Johnny Di Francesco’s Gradi Group has continued to grow with the launch of venue number six in Mornington.

400 Gradi Mornington has taken up a site on the corner of Main Street and appropriately has room for 400 seated diners.

The venue encompasses a two-level restaurant, gelateria and dessert bar along with an Italian market and delicatessen.

“It’s the first time we’ll have all three Gradi offerings in a single location working together,” says Di Francesco.

“It’s like Neapolitan ice cream, in that it creates a little something for everyone and every occasion.”

The upstairs dining area has a seated area along with a standalone bar and balcony, with the lower level hosting a wine and snack bar and adjacent dining room that coexists with the market and the dessert bar.

The restaurant is serving up the full 400 Gradi menu plus a rotating list of specials.

Guests are able to pick their own adventure at the venue whether it’s grabbing a scoop of gelato and some pantry essentials or sitting down for a full meal.

“We’ve waited a long time to find the perfect spot in the peninsula and we’re very much looking forward to meeting the locals and becoming part of the Mornington community,” says Di Francesco.

400 Gradi is open seven days from midday until late.

The gelateria and dessert bar and the market will open seven days from 8am until late.
