2015 Eat Drink Design Awards shortlist revealed

Now in its fourth year, the Eat Drink Design Awards will once again be returning in 2015 to recognise excellence in design of hospitality premises.

The Awards have been designed to recognise all scales and types of hospitality premises across Australia and New Zealand and 2015 has seen a record number of entries, of which 88 have been shortlisted.

The Awards span across six categories including: Best Bar Design, Best Restaurant Design, Best Caf Design, Best Temporary Design, Best Retail Design and Best Identity Design.

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 17 November 2015 at 64 Sutton, North Melbourne. There is a total prize pool of $9,000 and winners of individual award categories will each receive a $1,500 cash prize.

In addition to the six award categories there will be a ‘Hall of Fame’ accolade presented for enduring excellence in the design of a hospitality venue of a decade or more. Potential recipients are assessed on design innovation for the time, creative leadership, technical advancement and the project's national significance as a hospitality venue.
