Australian Venue Co’s 12-Micron will close its doors in approximately two weeks.
Dockside Group has purchased the site in Sydney’s Barangaroo and will go on launch an events space instead of a restaurant.
Good Food reports employees currently working at 12-Micron will be offered roles at alternative venues within Australian Venue Co.’s portfolio.
The restaurant was in business for just three years and was known for its desserts pioneered by pastry chef Darren Purchese during conception. It’s said the group are now more interested in venues that revolve around casual dining.
