Women in Hospitality (WOHO) has launched its inaugural survey to understand the current state of the industry and identify areas that require improvement.
The group hopes that the survey will be the “most powerful hospitality survey yet”. It will be used to track how safe, supportive, and equitable the industry is, and whether it’s improving.
The survey touches on sometimes sensitive topics of equality, leadership, discrimination, and safety. All responses are anonymous.
WOHO is an organisation created to support and foster career development of women in the Australian hospitality industry. It began in NSW but now has over 700 members in NSW, QLD, and WA. The group boasts a host of prominent board members, including Tara Sullivan, Claire Van Vuuren, Cate Hall, Amanda Fuller, and Gemma Duff.
For people Whether you’re seeking guidance, someone to talk to, or practical steps to take, WOHO has created a resource page with links to trusted support services and reporting options.
