The group behind Nour, Cuckoo Callay, Lilymu and Henrietta are gearing up to open their latest venue in Sydney’s Parramatta.

The Lobbyist is located on the NAB building in Parramatta Square and will welcome customers from 3 November.

Guests will be able to dine in or takeaway food and beverage from 7am until 4pm Monday to Friday.

“The Lobbyist is there to serve all of the businesses in the surrounding area, offering great coffee, delicious food and impeccable service,” says Ibby Moubadder, co-founder and executive director.

“When you walk into The Lobbyist you feel as though you could be in London or New York and that is exactly what we were looking to achieve.”

Ollie Hughes has taken on the head chef role and has put together a breakfast and lunch menu that elevates the classics.

Diners can expect dishes including mango lassi, chia and oat bircher muesli; lemon and white chocolate hotcake with honey, berries and vanilla yoghurt, and of course, an avocado toast option.

Lunch centres around a range of salad bowls along with sandwiches on focaccia stuffed with mortadella, smoked fior di latte and balsamic-pickled onions or roast pumpkin, grilled halloumi and basil pesto.

Reformatory Lab are behind the coffee and there’s also a selection of wines, beers and cocktails plus non-alcoholic options.

The Lobbyist swings open its doors from this Wednesday.
