The EatSummer twilight food market will debut on 18 November at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney.
The market will bring together more than 20 Sydney chefs for an evening of food, drink and entertainment. The event will also feature four themed bars and a dessert alley complete with six artisan dessert makers.
Confirmed venues include Agape, Anason, 1821, Lotus, Tequila Mockingbird, Lucio Pizzeria, Spice I Am, Marta Osteria, Indu, Barzaari, Nola Smokehouse, Sake Jr, Fratelli Fresh, Ume Burger, Hooked on Poke, Mr Bao and Banh Xeo Bar. Archie Rose will run a cocktail bar to complement the food options.
Headline chefs include Anason’s Somer Sivrioglu, Ume’s Kerby Craig, Lotus’ Chris Yan, Spice I Am’s Sujet Saenkham, Barzaari’s Darryl Martin, 1821’s David Tsirekas and Lucio Pizzeria’s Lucio De Falco.
The market will be enhanced by live musicians, DJs and performers, with grassed picnic areas and outdoor dining zones to provide different dining areas.
The market has been curated by food journalist Elizabeth Meryment, who has hand-picked the chefs of the event for their excellence, points of difference to each other, and for the intrigue they hold for Sydney diners.
EatSummer will be the first of a series of EatSummer twilight markets held until April at the Entertainment Quarter.
