A Rashay’s restaurant in Sydney’s Bankstown has been destroyed in a fire which broke out in the early hours of the morning on 14 April.
The pizza and pasta restaurant was totally destroyed by the blaze, which saw residents from adjacent apartment blocks evacuated.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious, the Daily Telegraph reports.
In 2012, another Rashay’s in Blacktown was destroyed in a fire, believed to be a targeted attack linked to organised crime in the area.
According to Rashay’s website, the brand has 16 locations across NSW and serves over 35,000 customers per week.
