Sonnel Hospitality appoints new leadership team members

Tim Fitzgerald and Jacqui Corbett have joined Greater Western Sydney’s Sonnel Hospitality in key leadership roles.

Sonnel Hospitality has a portfolio of 18 venues including Guildford Hotel, Australian Hotel & Brewery in Rouse Hill, and The Eastwood Hotel.

The group has brought Fitzgerald on board as Chief Operating Officer and Corbett as General Manager of Operations to help streamline its rapid expansion.

Fitzgerald was formerly CEO of Melbourne’s Morris Hospitality, the group behind iconic Victorian pubs such as O’Connell’s, The Albert Park Hotel, and Portsea Hotel, and has held key leadership positions at Merivale and Keystone Group. His role will be to drive revenue growth and strategic expansion, while leading the recently announced major redevelopment projects of the New Victoria Tavern, Crossroads Hotel, Ashfield Hotel, and Ermington Hotel.

Corbett was previously COO of Sydney’s Momento Hospitality, the group behind venues such as Nags Head Hotel, Hills Distilling Co., and Oran Park Hotel. As Sonnel’s Group Manager of Operations, she will focus on building strong relationships with venue teams and enhancing group operations.
