Hospitality group, Solotel, has purchased Chophouse restaurant in Sydney’s CBD.
The restaurant is Solotel’s 27th venue, forming part of its portfolio of bars, pubs, bistros and restaurants across Australia. Other venues include the recently re-launched Aria restaurant, Chiswick, and North Bondi Fish, as well as Opera Bar and Paddington Inn.
Solotel will take over the asset, formerly operated by the Keystone Group, which entered receivership earlier this year, on Monday 19 December, and Chophouse will continue to trade as normal.
The purchase was signed by managing directors Bruce Solomon and Matt Moran, who merged their businesses earlier this year.
Solomon said, “The Chophouse brand is incredibly strong and we are excited to add this very successful business to our portfolio. We look forward to continuing to build the current brand in 2017 and beyond.”
