Boss Coffee will take over Suntory Bar at Prefecture 48 this week, and anyone who has recently been promoted could be in luck.
From Wednesday 5 November until Saturday 8 November, the first 10 people each day who can prove they have been promoted in the past month can claim a complimentary Suntory BOSS coffee cocktail.
Suntory residency of Prefecture 48‘s Whisky Thief has run since early August, transforming the heritage space into a celebration of pioneering drinks. It has featured an array of highballs, experimental cocktails, and snack plates, crafted by a line-up of international guest bartenders and chefs.
The Boss limited-time cocktail menu will have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. It includes:
Coffee Colada: Served tiki style, with Boss coffee iced latte, Maker’s Mark, pineapple juice, and Crawley’s orgeat syrup.
Peatland Express: Served old fashioned style with Boss iced mocha, Laphroaig 10 whisky, spiced miso honey, and honeycomb.
The Irish Boss: Served Irish coffee style, with Boss iced long black, Suntory Toki whisky, hojicha tea, and hojicha cream.
Japanese Cola: Boss iced double espresso, Haku vodka, Amaro Nonino, cola, and lime.
Guests who order The Irish Boss have the chance to personalise their drink with their face printed on the cocktail. And, anyone who purchases a cocktail from the limited-time menu can take home a complimentary can of Boss coffee from the on-site vending machine.
The takeover will run from 5pm until late, and is the final chance to experience Suntory Bar before the three-month residency comes to an end.
Azabu Group launched Prefecture 48 in October last year. The group’s Brand Director Cindy Tseng said in July the goal of the six-venue Japanese precinct is to tell the story of “every Japan”.
