Tickets are now on sale for Hospitality magazine’s Restaurant Leaders Summit 2018 to be held on Monday 30 July 2018 at the Park Hyatt Melbourne.

Early bird tickets priced at $249 + GST are available until 30 June for restaurant and café operators and hospitality staff (excluding suppliers).

Now in its third year, the Summit will be held in Melbourne for the first time at the Park Hyatt Hotel.

Delegates will attend a full-day conference and mini expo which includes tea and coffee, lunch and networking drinks along with a souvenir edition of Hospitality magazine.

The conference will consist of a series of panel discussions, individual presentations and Q&As with the industry’s leading figures.

The day will cover the industry’s most pressing issues including attracting and retaining staff; mental health and wellbeing; diversifying your offering; marketing tips from the professionals; old-school operators vs millennials; trends and technology you need to know about and how to create a knock-out drinks offering that will boost your bottom line.

Speakers include Chris Lucas from The Lucas Group who will sit down with MC Alex Herbert for a one-on-one discussion on his experiences running some of Australia’s most successful venues.

Morgan McGlone from Belles Hot Chicken and Natural History Museum will join journalist and TV presenter Melissa Leong and a representative from R U OK?  to discuss their personal experiences and the industry’s recent shift which revolves around encouraging conversations and focusing on mental health and wellbeing.

Millennials and hospitality veterans will face off in a panel that’s all about sharing stories and learning from each other. Alex Herbert joins speakers Fiona Perkins (Bacash); Victor Liong (Lee Ho Fook); Carlo Grossi (Grossi Restaurants) and Thi Le (Anchovy).

Scott Pickett (Saint Crispin, Matilda 159 Domain), Liz Rodriguez (Grossi Restaurants) and Hannah Green (Etta) will discuss all things staffing including the importance of training and how they go about leading successful teams.

George Sykiotis (MAdE Establishment), Simon Blacher (Commune Group) and Peter Gunn (IDES) will talk about the importance of establishing a vision and diversifying your offering in a competitive market.
