Entries are now open for The Patron Perfectionists Cocktail Competition, which returns to Australia for the third year running.
Contestants from 20 countries have been called on to create a cocktail worthy of a perfectionist.
Patrón is looking for bartenders who demonstrate respect for craftsmanship, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to perfection, and want to see these values brought to life through their cocktail creations and presentation.
Contestants should create a cocktail inspired by Australia by 26 July.
The below regional final dates have been announced and will determine which six bartenders will go on to compete at the national competition in Sydney on Monday, 15th October.
– Monday, 27th August: Brisbane (QLD & NSW finalists combined)
– Tuesday, 28th August: Melbourne (VIC, TAS & NSW finalists combined)
– Tuesday, 11th September: Perth (SA, WA & NT finalists combined)
– Monday, 15th October: National Final in Sydney
The 20 national winners will head to Mexico in January 2019 to compete in the global finals week, with the grand finals being hosted at the home of Patrón Tequila, Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico.
