Makris Group, the privately owned developer behind the Gold Coast’s Oracle Boulevard, has announced an expansive new multi-venue project in collaboration with Sox Hospitality Group.
Set in the northwest corner of the original Oracle Boulevard development, the new space will host three “premium dining concepts” across 600 square metres. It will take over the area that currently holds Orzo, Mecca Bah, and The Cuban.
The new offering will include a wineroom and bar, a steakhouse restauarant, and a Japanese restaurant.
“Oracle Boulevard stands out on the Gold Coast dining scene for both its high end and casual dining offerings. This enhancement to the north-west corner will reconfirm its reputation as the leading food and beverage destination for locals and tourists,” says Makris Group CEO Jason Makris.
Sox Hospitality is operating Mecca Bah in Oracle Boulevard until it closes in the coming months for the new development to begin.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Sox Hospitality Group, whose vision aligns perfectly with our ambition to continue to deliver a diverse range of quality dining options for the high-traffic Broadbeach community.”
“Our mission is to enrich the Gold Coast’s dining landscape with venues that have their own unique character. Partnering with Makris was a natural fit, allowing us to further refine what is already a dynamic dining scene,” says Sox Hospitality Group Founder Simon Morris.
“This project is not just about new venues; it’s about creating memorable experiences for everyone,” adds Morris. “We’re set to reveal more details soon but expect some exciting new flavours.”
The new space is set to open in late 2025.
